The Scholarship Fund of the Coronado Neighborhood Council was established in 1975 for the purpose of giving monetary incentive to Coronado youth and adults who were in the process of futhering their education at the college level.
The criteria established for receiving a scholarship are based on:
Overall grades through secondary school
Leadership abilities
Contributions to the community and church
Future plans
Residency in the City of Richmond

The Coronado Neighborhood Council, Inc. is holding its thirty-sixth (36th) Annual Scholarship Banquet on October 25th, 2013 at the Gallileo Club, 371 South 23rd Street, Richmond. The Banquet begins at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $35.00.

The purpose of the roast is to raise funds for our scholarship program , to frolic, and at the same time applaud our roastees for their contributions and dedication to the City of Richmond.

We are in the process of compiling a souvenir program booklet which will serve as a memento of this occasion. Placing advertisements in our souvenir booklet indicates your support and best wishes for the future of our youth, as well as advertising for your firm.
